It may look scary if you’re not familiar with some of the technology, but we promise it will make sense and you will become one of the few agents that really understands how to effectively use the web and social media to meet more clients. You do not have to be a “techie” to get it!
The M program utilizes cutting-edge web marketing that reflects you as an individual including fully custom website, email newsletter built to resonate with your sphere, and training so that you can become an expert in online marketing. You’ll learn how to produce quality web content, share via social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), HomeQuest database management and prospecting, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and so much more. At M, it’s all about assisting you in building a sustainable practice that leverages your strengths.
1. Assessment of Your Strengths
If you are at M, you’re already a successful agent. We want to understand these strengths, so we can help build a marketing program that takes full advantage of your skills, experience and expertise. How do real estate conversations occur for you? Are you social, and real estate just always seems to come up? Are you a structured prospector, and like to call your database and ask for referrals? Are you a marketer and like to spend effort building campaigns and generating inbound leads? Or, are you a combination of all these?
2. The M Technology Training Program
The first step is to perform a strengths assessment to identify the areas of success for the agent. We work to identify any low hanging fruit that might be available and also make sure that the technology and web marketing program is not going to interfere with already established programs. Our programs are much more than how to tech training’s. They are clearly focused on building your business long term.
Unit One – Basic M web skills and construction
This unit is designed to get you up to speed with the basic tools needed to modernize your online marketing program. Completion of this unit results in a custom wordpress website and corresponding email newsletter.
Lesson 1 – Overview – Understanding how a successful agent website works in conjunction with the Homequest database system and integrated email newsletter campaigns. Learn how our system works to generate new clients.
Lesson 2 – WordPress overview, pages, posts, sidebar widgets, IDX and more.
Lesson 3 – Creating static landing pages that convert.
Lesson 4 – Dynamic content to support landing pages.
Lesson 5 – HomeQuest basics – How to add contacts and configure email campaigns, saved searches and scrapbooks.
Lesson 6 – Email newsletter – importing contacts to HQ, selecting content, tracking statistics.
Unit Two – Operating the Machine
Things begin to happen during this unit. The tools become much easier to use and your confidence and creativity come forward. You will be creating great pages and post and sharing them with your sphere as well as begin to get Google search traffic to your site. You will “get it” by the end of this unit.
Lesson 1 – Basic on page SEO search engine optimization for landing pages.
Lesson 2 – Advanced landing pages.
Lesson 3 – Advanced dynamic content.
Lesson 4 – Promoting content via SM, Email and traditional.
Lesson 5 – Basic analytics – Google analytics, traffic sources and visitor patterns.
Unit Three – Honing skills and mining for new opportunity
With mastery of the tools and basic techniques agents begin to mold the system to their strengths. We often perform custom one off development and create specific programs tailored to the agent. Advanced on and off page SEO and use of analytics to guide database growth are utilized.

3. Accountability
Every agent meets once per week for 15-30 minutes for a one-on-one to review progress, track metrics, solve problems and look for opportunity. These meetings are used to pace each agent through the sequence of lessons to ensure firm grasp of the material. The end result is an agent that is highly skilled and a level of collaboration that fosters new ideas and opportunity.
